Founder of Pilates; Joseph Pilates "Breathing is the first act of life and the last, fitness is connected to emotion." Every class at BodyUpWomen we incorporate our breathing with our movements to fully connect with our bodies and move with them. What is Pilates? Pilates is a form of low-impact exercises that aims to strengthen muscles while improving postural alignment and flexibility. Pilates moves tend to target and strengthen the core.
